It's not just about owning less...and more about creating a lifestyle where the stuff becomes the background to your life.

For me it started, one summer when we were in between houses. We shared a home with my brother for 3 months. All our stuff was packed away in the garage while we waited to move into our new home.The 4 of us shared 2 rooms.

Living simply meant that we had more time for each other. Much of our shopping was put on hold and we spent more time out doors.

We named this house....our Summer House because we spent the summer there. At the end of the summer, we moved into our new home. We unpacked all the stuff and life went back to managing, organizing, accumulating and thinking about the possesions. Then it hit me...we could live life at the Summer House all year long.

Live with less and enjoy life more. So that is what you will find me writing about here on the pages. Hopefully I will inspire you as well so that you can enjoy the simple life too.
